Creating a body of work is as important to building a personal brand as it is to demonstrating commitment and proficiency in a craft. The important word there is “commitment”. When you continue to build, grow, and share your learnings in an area of pursuit your consistent effort evolves into brand associations. For example, when the conversation changes from “That’s David the graphic designer” to “That’s David the graphic designer who’s known for his work in 3-D design and illustration", David is doing something right!
